There is no single entrance to Las Médulas. It is in a privileged location with good connections to the most important routes. The best ways to get there by car are:
- By the A-6 or the N-VI, from Ponferrada or from Villafranca del Bierzo until you reach the N-120. By the village of La Barosa turn off towards Carucedo.
- By the N-536, from Ponferrada to Borrenes or Carucedo. From Ourense by the N-536 to Puente de Domingo Flórez.
The main connection point by public transport is Ponferrada. Remember that there are no public transport facilities inside Las Médulas.

The company that serves the Las Médulas municipalities is AUPSA, S.A. Timetables can be consulted on its web site, the line to look for being Ponferrada-Puente de Domingo Flórez-O Barco de Valdeorras.
